The Silver Spirit Band Ensembles

1. The Silver Spirit Marching band: This group is a competative marching ensemble that strives to achieve high standards of musicianship, choreography and precision marching drill. The Silver Spirit Band is available for all grades with some participants coming from Dutch Fork Middle School.
   
   
2. The Dutch Fork High School Concert Band: Students who do not participate in marching band, but who desire to advance their music education are able to be members of this performance group. The Concert band strives to improve musicianship and to provide a challenging experience for its members. The Concert band is open to all grades.
   
   
3. The Dutch Fork Symphonic Band: Consisting of students from the marching band in grades 9 and 10, this group is intended for the serious younger students who are interested in ever more challenging musical experiences.
   
   
4. The Dutch Fork Symphonic Winds: The most demanding and challenging repertoire is the realm of this group. Symphonic Winds members are marching band students in 11th and 12th grade. Also included in this group are students from grades 9 and 10 who audition for and are placed in SCBDA Region and All-State bands.
